eBloc is a lightweight ultra-compact fall arrest device unique in that shock absorber is integral withing the retractor mechanism. In the event of a fall the mechanism is designed to arrest the user in a controlled manner at a force less than 6kN.
The unit has an overall length of around 2.5 metres and includes a self-retracting mechanism to avoid dangerous slack in the system. The integrated swivel attachment has a large eye to allow attachment via a wide variety of hooks, karabiners and overhead anchorage points, it also includes a load indicator which gives the user a clear visual indication if the system has been involved in a fall.
